Jack is a distinguished private investor. Jack is an Adjunct Professor at The University of North Texas and The University of Texas at Dallas where he teaches investments. He has over 34 years of private investment experience completing over $75 billion in transactions which resulted in attractive returns for investors. He received his BS degree with honors from Arizona State University and his MBA degree with honors from The University of Texas at Austin. Jack is a Distinguished Eagle Scout.

Jack serves on the board of directors for several companies. He is a lifetime executive board member of Circle Ten Council, BSA (Dallas), an executive board and committee member of Boy Scouts of America (National Council), a lifetime member of McComb’s School of Business Advisory Council at The University of Texas at Austin. Jack is a 1998 Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute. He was inducted into W. P. Carey School of Business Hall of Fame at Arizona State University in 1999. Jack is also the recipient of the 2003 Outstanding Young Texas Ex Award and W.P. Carey School of Business 2008 Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award. In 2017, he was honored as Arizona State University’s Philanthropist of the Year and was designated an Honorary Mountaineer Brigadier in the West Virginia State Militia.Recently, Jack received the /Outstanding Philanthropist Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Dallas Chapter and a Honorary Doctorate Degree from West Virginia University.

KEN HERSH
President and CEO, George W. Bush Presidential Center

Kenneth A. Hersh, 56, is President and Chief Executive Officer of the George W. Bush Presidential Center, a Dallas-based non-partisan institution which houses the George W. Bush Library and Museum and the George W. Bush Institute. The Bush Center’s mission is to engage communities in the U.S. and around the world by developing leaders, advancing policy and taking action to solve today’s most pressing challenges.

He also serves as Co-Founder and Advisory Partner of NGP Energy Capital Management. NGP is a premier private equity investment franchise in the natural resources industry managing over $20.0 billion of cumulative committed capital since inception in 1988. Through 2015, Mr. Hersh served as NGP’s Chief Executive Officer. From 1988 through 2015, under his leadership, NGP invested over $10 billion and achieved a 27-year gross IRR of 30% (net IRR of 19%), making it one of the nation’s leading investment firms during that period.

Mr. Hersh currently serves as Senior Advisor to The Carlyle Group’s natural resources division and sits on the Boards of the Texas Rangers Baseball Club and the Dallas Citizens Council. In addition, Mr. Hersh serves on the Board of Overseers of the Hoover Institution, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the National Council of the American Enterprise Institute. He also sits on the Dean’s Council of the Harvard Kennedy School. Mr. Hersh served on the Advisory Council of Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business from 2009 through 2015. In 2014, he was recognized as Master Entrepreneur of the Year for the Southwest Region by Ernst & Young during its Entrepreneur of the Year program, and in 2017 received the Oil & Gas Council’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

Mr. Hersh has also been very involved in the nonprofit arena both nationally and locally on a personal basis and through the efforts of The Hersh Foundation, his family’s private foundation. He serves on the boards of the Global War on Terror Memorial Foundation, the Communities Foundation of Texas, Baylor Health Care System Foundation, and the National Association for Urban Debate Leagues. From 1998 through 2015, Mr. Hersh served on the board of St. Mark’s School of Texas, where he held numerous positions including President from 2010 through 2012. In 2015, Mr. Hersh received the St. Mark’s School of Texas Distinguished Alumnus Award.

Prior to co-founding NGP, Mr. Hersh was employed by Morgan Stanley & Co. where he was a member of the firm’s energy group specializing in oil and gas financing and merger and acquisition transactions.

Mr. Hersh was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. After graduating from St. Mark’s, he attended Princeton University where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Politics in 1985. In 1989, Mr. Hersh earned his M.B.A. from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business where he graduated as an Arjay Miller Scholar.

Mr. Hersh and his wife, Julie, reside in Dallas, Texas.

MARY TEMPLETON
Co-Chair, United Way Annual Campaign

Mary is a community leader and volunteer who has served on a number of non-profit boards in the Dallas area. This includes 13 years as a member of the John Paul II High School Board, where she served on the Executive Committee, chaired the Development Committee and sat on the Finance and Endowment committees.

Past board affiliations also include the Southwest Region of Boys and Girls Clubs, University of Dallas, Dallas Arboretum, Ursuline Academy Foundation, and the AT&T Performing Arts Board. She currently is a member of the Advisory Council of The Catholic Foundation and the board of directors of the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Foundation, Ursuline Academy of Dallas and provides counsel for development projects with the Diocese of Dallas and the Dallas Arboretum. Mary exemplifies her personal creed, “Try to leave everything and everyone you touch a little better than you found them.” She was honored for her extensive service to the community in 2011 with the Catholic Foundation Award for Service.

Mary holds degrees in computer science and economics from Union College, Schenectady, New York. During her 14-year career with General Electric, she worked in marketing, finance and audit. She and husband, Rich, live in Parker, Texas, where they raised their three children and recently welcomed their first grandchild. Rich is chairman, president and chief executive officer of Texas Instruments. He became chairman of the board in April 2008, and president and chief executive officer in May 2004. He has served on the company’s board of directors since July 2003.

HENRY TIMMS
President and CEO, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts has named Henry Timms its 11th President and CEO, board chair Katherine Farley announced today. Timms will join Lincoln Center in early May, arriving from his post as President and CEO of cultural hub the 92nd Street Y. In his new position, Timms will lead one of New York City’s premier arts institutions as it readies for, among other initiatives, a long-in-planning redesign of the center’s signature David Geffen Hall, home of the New York Philharmonic.

Timms will take over from Russell Granet, who has been acting president since the resignation last year of Debora L. Spar, the former Barnard College president whose one-year tenure at Lincoln Center was marked by the controversial decision to drastically scale back the reportedly $500 million Geffen Hall re-do.

Lincoln Center has not disclosed new plans for the renovation, though the topic will certainly be among the most pressing of the new CEO’s agenda.

Timms, credited with modernizing the 144-year-old 92nd Street Y, co-founded the #GivingTuesday movement, the day of philanthropy that follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday after Thanksgiving. In announcing Timms’ hiring, Lincoln Center said that Giving Tuesday had “catalyzed more than $1 billion online in the United States alone.”

“Henry is a trailblazing leader of the highest caliber,” said Farley. “His combination of collegiality, digital savvy and transformational thinking will be an enormous asset as we develop exciting new projects, and bring the well-known excellence of the arts at Lincoln Center to the broadest possible audience.

“Henry’s signature style is collaboration, complemented by innovation, ingenuity and enthusiasm, which will serve him well as he works closely with all of our constituent arts organizations.”

STEVEN WILLIAMS
CEO of PepsiCo Foods North America

Steven Williams is currently the chief executive officer of PepsiCo Foods North America, which includes Frito-Lay and Quaker Foods North American. He previously was senior vice president of sales and chief commercial officer for Frito-Lay U.S. In this role Steven led the sales function overseeing strategy, planning and execution for Frito-Lay’s U.S. field and customer sales organizations, with responsibility for retail, ecommerce and food service businesses.

A 22-year PepsiCo veteran, Steven most recently served as senior vice president and general manager for Frito-Lay’s east division where he was accountable for the overall business and performance management for the six geographic regions in the eastern U.S. Prior to assuming this role, he led PepsiCo’s global Walmart business as senior vice president and general manager, where he had responsibility for all aspects of PepsiCo’s portfolio of businesses with Walmart worldwide.

Steven also has served as senior vice president of sales for PepsiCo’s North America Nutrition businesses, having overall sales leadership responsibility for Gatorade, Quaker, Tropicana and Naked Juice Brands. He joined Quaker in 1997, prior to the PepsiCo acquisition, and has held leadership positions of increased responsibility in field sales, general management, customer management, sales planning and shopper marketing.

Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Central Oklahoma and is a graduate of the Executive Program for Leadership Development (PLD) at Harvard Business School. Steven serves on the board of the United Way Foundation Metropolitan Dallas and is active in community development programs. He resides in the Dallas area with his wife Christy and their two children, Lauren and Jacob.

SANDRA PHILLIPS ROGERS
Group Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer

Sandra Phillips Rogers is group vice president, chief legal officer, general counsel and corporate secretary of Toyota Motor North America, Inc. (TMNA). She also serves as chief diversity officer for TMNA, chairs the TMNA Management Committee and is a member of Toyota’s global leadership team. In these roles, Rogers is responsible for helping define and execute on Toyota’s strategy as a global mobility company, one that is an industry leader in autonomous, connected and sustainable vehicle technologies.

Rogers oversees the legal services function for Toyota’s North American operations, Toyota Legal One (“TL1”), and the representation of the company and its affiliates. She provides strategic guidance in areas such as global transactions, cybersecurity, privacy, government and regulatory investigations, complex litigation, labor and employment and intellectual property, among others. She also oversees Compliance & Audit and Product Regulatory Affairs.

As chief diversity officer, Rogers leads Toyota’s long-standing efforts to advance diversity and inclusion through an integrated holistic strategy that addresses the workplace, the marketplace and society. Her responsibilities encompass the company’s Social Innovation organization, which includes TMNA’s diversity and inclusion activities and focuses on inclusive mobility, community sustainability and workforce readiness.

Previously, Rogers was vice president and deputy general counsel, Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc.

Prior to joining Toyota in June 2012, Rogers was a partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, where she focused on complex litigation management and strategy, including crisis management. She also served as senior vice president, associate general counsel and chief litigation counsel at Pfizer Inc., where she was responsible for the company’s global product litigation and environmental litigation strategies. Previously, she was managing partner of the Houston office of Shook, Hardy & Bacon.

Rogers is a founding member and serves on the executive committee of the Center for Women in Law at The University of Texas School of Law, which is devoted to the success of the entire spectrum of women in law. In 2018, she received the Outstanding Alumna Award from the school, her alma mater. In recognition of her leadership in advancing diversity and inclusion in the legal profession, she received the 2016 Legacy Award from the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law. In 2017, Rogers received the Burton Foundation Legend in Law Award and was named “GC Impact Player of the Year” by D CEO. Black Enterprise has also recognized Rogers as one of its “75 Most Powerful Women in Business” (2017) and “300 Most Powerful Executives in Corporate America” (2018).

Rogers serves on the board of directors for YWCA USA, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and MSA Safety Incorporated (NYSE: MSA). She is a trustee for the University of Texas Law School Foundation and serves on the advisory council for the Texas A&M Transportation Institute. She is a member of the Executive Leadership Council.

She holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

ANNE CHOW
President, National Business at AT&T

As President - National Business, Anne Chow leads over 12,000 business professionals who support 95 percent of AT&T’s business customers nationwide. Across numerous AT&T Business segments, she oversees customer experience, management of direct and indirect sales channels, the B2B Sales Development Program, call center support, and DIRECTV FOR BUSINESSSM. She also owns the P&L for the small and medium-sized business market which includes all of AT&T's B2B services including wireless, networking, and application solutions, covering over $13B in revenues.

With more than 25 years in the industry, Anne has led many global organizations through major transformations, developing and executing innovative growth strategies while building role model relationships. She's passionate about education, diversity and inclusion, advancing women in technology and cultivating next generation leaders.

Anne’s experience is diverse in both breadth and depth. She has held leadership positions in engineering, direct and indirect sales, sales operations, marketing, customer care, international operations, product management and strategic planning. She’s known for building world class teams, developing model leaders, and having a passion for excellence with customers and constituents alike.

As a founding member of AT&T University’s governing board, Anne actively supports the company’s leadership development imperative. She’s also involved in many of AT&T’s Employee Resource Groups and Employee Networks worldwide and serves as the executive sponsor for AT&T’s Women of Business Employee Network and the Asia Pacific Women’s Organization. Each week, she coaches, mentors and inspires thousands of readers through her internal blog, which has been voted “best blog” across the company for the past 8 years.

A lifetime member of the Girl Scouts, Anne also serves on the National Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of the USA. She also currently serves on the Board of the Directors of Franklin Covey Co (NYSE: FC). Anne is a member of the Committee of 100 and the incoming Co-Chair of Georgia Tech’s Parent Board.

Her many contributions to business and the community are widely recognized. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell.
